(WARWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) On November 2, 2013, at around 8:00 p.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a call about a vehicle having been driven into a ditch on Nauvoo road near Egremont road.
Investigation determined that a Nissan vehicle was travelling on Nauvoo road when the driver lost control of the vehicle and drove the vehicle into a ditch.
While police were speaking with him it was determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages. The driver, was transported to Strathroy hospital but was treated and released.
The male driver, 54 year old Frank DORTMANS of Warwick Township was arrested and held for a November 4, 2013 Sarnia court bail hearing to face charges of:
Impaired Driving
Driving over the legal limit
Driving while disqualified
Breach of Recognizance x3
