(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) During the last week of July 2010 Perth County OPP officers in Listowel received a large number of theft reports from unlocked vehicles. The vehicles had been entered, rummaged through and valuable items had been removed from inside.
As a result of and extensive police investigation into these crimes, four Listowel youths have been charged. The four youths have been released on a Promise to Appear and have been placed on conditions until their court dates.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who had their vehicle entered and neglected to report it to police, to still do so. Victims of these crimes are requested to call the Perth County OPP immediately at 1-888-310-1122.
