(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like the public’s assistance in solving the overnight theft of four ukuleles stolen from a parked vehicle. Officers met with the victim yesterday morning and gathered details about the stolen ukuleles. It was discovered the stolen ukuleles had been left in the back seat of an unlocked vehicle parked on High Street in Clinton. The theft took place sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on September 24, 2015.
The four stolen ukuleles were brand new in original packaging. Each ukulele also had a black carrying case. The Mahalo UK-221E ukulele is an acoustic/electric that is mahogany in colour. They are valued at $120 each.
Chances are the thieves will be looking to sell these musical instruments. If you are approached with a great deal on some ukuleles consider them stolen until proven otherwise.
