Four Shot In Cafe – Two Deceased – Video Of Suspect Released – Call 911 Immediately If Seen

Investigators with the York Regional Homicide Unit have located the vehicle involved in the fatal shooting that occurred at the Moka Espresso Bar Café in the City of Vaughan and have identified the vehicle as having been stolen from the Town of Greater Napanee.On Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 8:18 a.m.,

York Regional Police responded to reports that four people had been shot at the Moka Café in the area of Islington Avenue and Highway 7. Two victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other victims were taken to hospital and will survive. The deceased victims have been identified as Maria VOCI, 47, of the City of Vaughan, and Christopher DESIMONE, 24, of the City of Vaughan.

Post-mortem examinations have determined the cause of death is consistent with gunshot wounds for both victims.On Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., York Regional Police Homicide investigators were notified that the Toronto Police Service had located the stolen 2011 black Nissan Versa with licence plate BVLW 273 that was used by the suspect.

The vehicle was found abandoned in a parking lot at 67 Westmore Drive in Etobicoke.The vehicle was stolen from the driveway of a residence in the area of Highway 401 and Centre Street North in the Town of Greater Napanee, between 11:50 p.m. on June 18, 2015 and 12:10 a.m. on June 19, 2015. York Regional Police would like to thank the Ontario Provincial Police in the Greater Napanee area for their assistance in this investigation.Investigators continue to appeal to anyone who may be able to identify the suspect to contact police immediately.

This suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Citizens are reminded not to approach him and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report any sightings of the suspect.Investigators want to remind the public that anyone who aids or assists the suspect for the purpose of evading police or escaping, will be subject to a criminal charge of Accessory After the Fact.
