Four People Injured At Fitzroy Provincial Park

(OTTAWA, ON) – On August 1, 2015, The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Ottawa Detachment responded to an incident at the Fitzroy Provincial Park.

At approximately 2:30 pm, a large tree branch collapsed on a group of people at the Fitzroy Provincial Park. Approximately 100 people were in attendance for a gathering.

A 55 year old female of Ottawa, a 58 year old female of Ottawa, a 56 year old male of Ottawa and a 31 year old female from Renfrew County were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
