(SOUTHERN GEORGIAN BAY, ON) – Between December 18th and December 19th, 2015 members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) removed four impaired drivers from their roadways.
On December 18, 2015 at 2:16 p.m. officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. spot check on Fuller Ave in Penetanguishene when a Dodge motor vehicle approached the officers. Upon speaking to the male, it was determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol. As a result of the investigation the driver identified as Willian Earl ROGERS (age 58) of Penatanguishene was arrested for Impaired Driving and is now facing the following charges:
Driving While Ability Impaired contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Possession of Unmarked Cigarettes contrary to the Tobacco Tax Act
Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 7, 2016 in Midland, ON.
On December 18, 2015 at 8:35 p.m. an officer stopped a motor vehicle on Highway 12 in Tay Township. The Chevrolet pick-up truck was driving suspiciously and had no rear lights. During the stop, the officer determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol. As a result of the investigation, the driver, John LOTT (age 54) of Midland, ON is charged with:

Driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on December 31, 2015 in Midland, ON.
On December 19, 2015 at 1:25 a.m. officers were called to a residence in Honey Harbour regarding an unwanted intoxicated male. At 2:08 a.m. the same morning the male was stopped driving a motor vehicle in the area of the call. As a result of the investigation the officer determined that the male had been consuming alcohol and he was arrested for Impaired Driving. Giancarlo GEMMITI (age 57) of Scarborough is charged with:

On December 19, 2015 at 5:05 a.m. an officer stopped a motor vehicle driving in a suspicious manner in the Town of Midland. As a result of the investigation, the driver, Cody Michael BEILSTEIN (age 23) of Penetanguishene, ON, is charged with:
Driving While Ability Impaired contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Fail to Comply with Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to the criminal Code of Canada
Possession of Cannabis Marihuana contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act
The accused has been held for bail on December 21, 2015 in Barrie, ON
