Four Arrested In Break And Enter

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On September 22, 2015, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter in progress at a commercial property.

At approximately 2:36 a.m., suspects attended a property in the 4900 block of Gladstone Drive. Once on the property, the suspects trespassed, and accessed the interior of a building on the site, after damaging an entry door.

Officers attended and apprehended four males at the scene. They were arrested, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment.

The Middlesex County OPP Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) assisted with the investigation.

As a result of the police investigation, 35-year-old Dermin COLLINS, from St. Thomas, Ontario, has been charged with break, enter a place – commit indictable offence, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, carrying concealed weapon, and possession of break in instruments, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

48-year-old Allan COLLINS, from Central Elgin, Ontario, has been charged with break, enter a place – commit indictable offence, disguise with intent, and possession break in instruments, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

31-year-old Christopher GAUDIO, from St. Thomas, Ontario, has been charged with break, enter a place – commit indictable offence, and possession of break in instruments, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

49-year-old Terry SHEELLER, from St. Thomas, Ontario, has been charged with break, enter a place – commit indictable offence, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, and possession of break in instruments, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused persons were released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA) and are scheduled to appear in the London courts in November to answer to the charges.
