Four Arrested For Break Ins

(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On August 30, 2015 members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information that four males were using a cottage without the owner’s permission on Bolger Lake in Whitestone.

The investigation determined that the males had broken into a cottage, cut down trees and taken a motor boat from another cottage. OPP obtained a description of the males and the vehicle they left with from the scene. OPP conducted a traffic stop and the males were arrested.

The driver, Dopaul RAMCHARAN, 32 years of age from North York was arrested and charged with:

· Theft under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code (CC).

· Mischief under $5000 contrary to the CC.

· Driving under suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).

· Drive motor vehicle not equipped with ignition interlock contrary to the HTA.

The passenger, Ishwar INDARJIT, 36 years of age from Toronto was arrested and charged with:

· Theft under $5000 contrary to the CC.

· Mischief under $5000 contrary to the CC.

The passenger, Christopher PERSAUD, 48 years of age from North York was arrested and charged with:

· Theft under $5000 contrary to the CC.

· Mischief under $5000 contrary to the CC.

The passenger, Karmachaud RAMTAHAL, 32 year of age from Brampton was arrested and charged with:

· Theft under $5000 contrary to the CC.

· Mischief under $5000 contrary to the CC.

The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on October 1, 2015 to answer to their charges.
