(Prescott, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police officers are investigating the discovery of human remains in the St. Lawrence Seaway on Sunday August 11. Officers responded to the call at 11:20am and discovered decomposed human remains in the water near Prescott. The office of the Provincial Coroner is leading the investigation at this time. A post mortem will be scheduled to determine the identity of the deceased and cause of death.
