Floyd Schmidt – Drunk Driving

(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) -On November 10, 2013 at approximately 3:35 p.m., officers from the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a R.I.D.E. Program on Queen Street South near Walker Street, Palmerston. A male driver of a 2005 Dodge entered the check point and showed signs of alcohol consumption. A Roadside Screening Device test was administered which resulted in a fail.

Floyd Schmidt age 58 of Mapleton Twp. has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 22, 2013 to answer to the charge.
