(Goderich, ON) – Sometime between 10:00 pm on May 1 and 1:00 am on May 2, 2011 suspects entered the back yard of a residence on Victoria Street in Goderich. While on the property, the suspects set off fireworks in the back yard.
Some time later, a witness called in a fire in the back yard of the residence. The Goderich Fire Department attended and the fire was put out. A cushion on a Muskoka chair had been set ablaze by a fire cracker and the fire had grown large enough to melt siding on the house. This situation could have turned deadly if the fire had continued. A group of youth were walking away from the involved address as the fire department were heading to the fire.
