Firewood Stolen

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a theft after being called to a Norfolk County Highway 24 East, Woodhouse, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Friday, July 17, 2015 at approximately 5:28 p.m., unknowns attended a roadside fruit stand and proceeded to remove a quantity of firewood that was also advertised for sale.

Through investigation it was determined that two young males exited a dark blue GMC pick-up truck, attended the stand and removed a quantity of firewood and returned to their vehicle making no attempt to pay.

The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
