(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Sunday, October 1st, 2016, officers from the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter at a residence on McGillivray Road in the Municipality of Highlands East.
Investigation into the incident revealed that the residence was forcibly entered between September 27th and October 1st, 2016.
Once in the home, the suspects removed personal property and several firearms.
The stolen firearms are described as:
Mossberg pump shotgun, serial number J467415
Winchester 3030 lever, serial number 4636500
Liege United Arms side by side, serial number 27491
Marlin rifle, 22 with scope, serial number 6410097
303 Lee Enfield 1955, possible serial number 7414
FN Indian Ishapore, restricted firearm serial number BH4417
Remington 12 gauge shotgun
