Firearms Stolen From Blyth Residence

(NORTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are seeking tips from the public to help solve a recent crime that took place in Blyth.

Sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on January 12, 2019 someone forced entry into a residence located on Drummond Street in Blyth through a patio door. Once inside the home the thief proceeded to steal four firearms and registration cards from a gun collection.

The stolen firearms are described as follows:

A Squires Bingham .22 calibre rifle with a five round magazine

A M1 Carbine .30 calibre rifle

A Rossi .22 calibre rifle with a dark stock and a tube magazine under the barrel

An unknown make and model long gun, possibly a Chev Arms rifle that has a rough finish.
