FIREARM STOLEN IN GARAGE BREAK AND ENTER

(LONGLAC, ON.) – On September 28, 2013 the Greenstone Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received reports of several break and enters to garages on Forestry Road in Longlac. It is believed that the break-ins occurred between the hours of midnight and 4:00am. The investigations revealed that a small amount of property was stolen. Specifically one of the items stolen is a long gun style firearm with some ammunition. The other items are a camo backpack, a yellow flashlight and a black pair of binoculars.

OPP want to remind the public to keep diligent with securing their property, and report any suspicious persons or activities to police. Purchasing or being in possession of stolen property is a crime.
