(Selwyn Township, ON) – Member of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a break in to a cottage on Pigeon Lake on Saturday evening just after 8:30pm.
The homeowner had closed the Pigeon island cottage in October, and re-opened this past weekend. The cottager noticed a gun safe pried open from a locked shed on the property. Stolen from the safe was a black Kassnar Fox semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun.
