(NORWICH, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break and enter which occurred at a rural farm property located on Cornell Road in Norwich Township. The break in occurred between 11:00 p.m. on October 15, 2015 and 3:30 a.m. on October 16, 2015.
Unknown suspect(s) entered into a barn and pickup truck parked on the property. Stolen was a .22 calibre, black Ruger 10-22 rifle, with a Bushnell scope attached. Also taken were various hand and power tools, and a small amount of animal medication.
The investigation is continuing.
The OPP is asking residents to be vigilant in recognizing suspicious people or vehicles that are in your neighborhoods. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area.
