Fire Investigation

(LAKE OF BAYS, ON) On February 1, 2015 just after 10:00pm Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to assist at a fire scene on Brunel Road, in the township of Lake of Bays, Ontario.

Lake of Bays and Huntsville fire department along with Muskoka EMS attended the address on Brunel for a report of a barn on fire. It was learned that there was a missing male at the time of the fire was suspected to be in the barn.

Huntsville OPP along with the assistance of Muskoka Crime Unit and Ontario Fire Marshall’s office is at the property today to determine the cause of the fire. Huntsville OPP has confirmed that the missing male was located in the barn after the fire was brought under control.

The identity of the male is yet to determined pending post mortem.
