(TOWN OF HARRISTON, ON) – On December 26, 2015 at approximately 12:11 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a call to attend a structure fire at a residence on Elora St N. in Harriston. The building was destroyed and no one was reported injured.
The Minto Fire Department along with North Perth Fire Service attended and extinguished the fire.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and is being investigated. The road is currently closed at Elora St and Arthur St in Harriston in each direction and is expected to remain closed for several hours.
