(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On Thursday, October 16, 2014 at approximately 3.26 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a barn fire on Southgate Road 8 in the Township of Southgate.
The Dundalk Fire Department was at the scene when police arrived. The barn, which had contained a large number of goats and various farming equipment, was destroyed.
There were no injuries reported.
The Dundalk Fire Department continue to investigate the cause of the fire, which does not appear to be suspicious.
