Fire Department Resignations Fall On Deaf Ears – Captain Crayon Insists Fire Department Has Not Resigned – “There Is No Change”

24Nov2017 North Huron fire chief Ryan Ladner resigned. 07Nov2017 North Huron held a meeting, during which North Huron Deputy Fire Chiefs Matt Townsend & Chad Kregar, along with numerous other firefighters walked out of the meeting while giving verbal resignations.

North Huron CAO Dwayne Evans with a degree in geography/map coloring (Captain Crayon) stressed that no written resignations have been received and that firefighters would make themselves available in the case of a fire emergency. The service will be “the same service that was available previously. There’s no change.”

Apparently one of the major issues our hero firefighters have with council is not being heard, the resignations falling on deaf ears seem to confirm their grievance.
