On October 28, 2013 at 12:54 a.m., the Guelph Fire Department responded to a reported house fire at the above noted location. Units from Headquarters, stations 3, 5 and 6 arrived at the scene and found smoke showing from the second floor. Fire crews entered the residence and encountered heavy smoke and fire. The fire was located in a second storey bedroom.
The fire was quickly brought under control and subsequently extinguished. Guelph paramedics treated and released a resident at this location with no other injury to firefighting personnel.
