On September 8, 2013 at 8:20 p.m., the Guelph Police Service and Guelph Fire Department attended to 576 Woolwich Street in response to a fire. As a result of police investigation a 56 year old Guelph woman was arrested. There were no injuries as a result of the fire and damage was minor.
The female has been charged with arson endangering life. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on September 9, 2013.
