(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON.) – Members of the Kirkland Lake OPP Detachment, the Ministry of Natural Resources Enforcement Unit and the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners Junior “A†Hockey Club will be holding a “Fill a Cruiser for the Holidays Food Driveâ€Â. The participants will be out collecting non-perishable food items on Saturday November 30, 2013.
The first collection will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Foodland Grocery Store on Government Road East in Kirkland Lake.
The second collection will occur from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Pettenuzzo’s Independent Grocer on McChesney Avenue in Kirkland Lake.
Staff/Sgt Rick Witty Kirkland Lake OPP Detachment Commander states, “We want to build on last year’s overwhelming success. All non-perishable food donations will be greatly appreciated and will go directly towards helping those in need through the Salvation Army Food Bankâ€Â.
