Field to Fork Feast Wiarton

The Grey Bruce Agriculture & Culinary Association presents another signature Field to Fork Feast on May 30 in Wiarton.

Feature chefs include Paul Lavender, Munshaw’s Bistro, Robin Pradhan, Rocky Raccoon Café, Carey Mclellan, Noah’s Inn, Jeff Suddabye, 3 Guys and a Stove, Emily Bradley-Low, Mimi’s Café, Phil Howard, Longlane B&B, Christina Chaldny and Graham Thomas, Harvest Moon Organic Bakery, Rebecca Mills, Delicious Dishes, Steve Bognar, Keppel Cuisine, and more.

Enjoy trout, bison, wild greens, chicken, veggie burgers, beef burgers, quiche, cheeses, wild cordials, punches prepared to delight the palate on edible plates. A total of 14 food stations and three beverage stations.

Participate in the silent auction featuring mainly experiential items such as a plane ride, a helicopter ride, candy making, to name only a few. Due to the nature of the event, the silent auction will have three closing times. Items will be colour coded for when the bidding closes on each during the afternoon.

The community will be present in the information booth area. Wiarton Willie will be roaming. 1. Sean McGivern, president, National Farmers’ Union and owner of Grass Roots Organics and Terri Munn, educator and founder of The North Bruce Peninsula Transition Community, will be speaking. Horsefeathers and feature ensembles from the Peninsular Shores District School will be performing.

All this for an entry fee of $20 ($5 for children under 12).
