On October 19, 2015 at 8:13 a.m., the Guelph Police went to 141 Woolwich Street to investigate the complaint of an assault. It is alleged that a male had been staying temporarily with two females in their apartment and was preparing to leave when he became upset with one of the females. He took a kitchen knife and held it towards the female and threatened her. He then struck her in the face with his hand, took her backpack and left the apartment. Police located the male a short distance away and he was arrested.
Gregory Moore, 41 years of Guelph male has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon, utter threats and theft under $5,000. He will appear in court on October 20, 2015.
