(Collingwood, Ontario) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the local OPP Crime Unit are currently investigating a sexual assault which took place on Huron Street in Collingwood.
The incident took place at approximately 6:45am on the 22nd of July 2013 where a female jogger was sexually assaulted by an unknown male. He is described as being in his 20s, medium build with short dark hair wearing a white t-shirt, running shoes carrying a backpack.
Police are asking that anyone who may have observed someone in that area, including the female jogger, to contact the Collingwood OPP Crime Unit at 705-445-4321 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (1-800-222-8477) or submit your information online at www.crimestopperssdm.com if you have any information on this crime.
