(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 31, 2014 at approximately 7:50 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. Programme at Roszell Road and Townline Road, Puslinch Township. A female was driving a 2008 Dodge at a high rate of speed and did not stop for the officers at the programme. Officers were able to get out of the way and the vehicle proceeded through a stop sign. It stopped for police a short distance away.
Rebecca CARR age 37 of Cambridge has been charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Criminal Code.
She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on February 10, 2015 to answer the charge.
