(BATCHEWANA FIRST NATION, ON) – On March 18, 2015 at approximately 1:50 a.m. Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police responded to a domestic disturbance on the Batchewana First Nation.
As a result of police investigation a 20 year old female was arrested and charged with three counts of Failing to Comply with Undertaking, one count of Assault and one count of Mischief under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
It is alleged the accused assaulted and damaged property belonging to the victim.
The accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing today.
