(Otonabee South Monaghan Township, ON) – On Wednesday November 7, at approximately 12:08 p.m. Peterborough County OPP received a call for assistance regarding a Break and Enter that had occurred at a County Road 2 residence.
Upon arrival officers conducted an investigation at the residence and information was received that an ex-wife of the residence owner had forced entry into his home when he was not home. Once inside the residence the suspect was confronted by a female occupant of the home. The suspect assaulted the female and stole the keys for a motor-vehicle and a lap top computer then left the residence.
Once outside the residence the suspect stole a Motor vehicle that was the property of the home owner.
As a result of the investigation the 29 year old female, from Curve Lake was located and was arrested and charged with, Break and Enter, Assault and Theft Over $5000.
The female was held in custody and is scheduled for a bail hearing on November 8, 2013 in Peterborough Provincial Courts.
