FEMALE ARRESTED FOR IMPAIRED DRIVING ON HIGHWAY 10

(CALEDON, ON) – On Sunday, November 3, 2013 shortly before midnight, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver in the area of Highway 410 travelling towards Mayfield Road. Officers located the suspect vehicle, a silver Toyota Rav 4 on Highway 10 and activated their emergency equipment to check on the driver’s sobriety. The officers approached the driver of the vehicle and determined that she had consumed alcohol. The female driver was arrested and later transported to Detachment for testing.

Once the investigation was concluded, Carolyn Marie KEENAN, 46, of Mississauga was arrested and charged with Over 80 mgs.

The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and her motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to make her first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on November 21, 2013.
