(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Friday the 30th of January 2015, officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a snowmobile collision on North Bay Beach Road in the Municipality of Highlands East. Officers attended the scene and determined that the collision had occurred on Paudash Lake.
A 51 year old male of Peterborough Ontario was transported to hospital by ambulance. He was pronounced dead after leaving the scene.
The name of the deceased is not being released at this time as investigation into the incident is ongoing.
