(SEGUIN TOWNSHIP, ON) – On September 17, 2018, shortly after 6:30 p.m. members of the West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision involving a motor vehicle and motorcycle on Cardwell Road in Seguin Township, Ontario.
The collision occurred when the riders on the motorcycle came off the bike and contacted the motor vehicle. David SCHMELER, a 32 year-old male from Armour Township, Ontario and Ramona PHILLIPS, a 23 year-old female from Bracebridge were pronounced death at the scene.
The investigation is continuing with the assistance of an OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigator (TTCI).
