(EAST FERRIS TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 1, 2015 at approximately 7:44p.m., North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Groulx Road in East Ferris Township.
The lone driver of the motorcycle was transported by ambulance and helicopter to the North Bay Regional Hospital.
The driver, Kurtis SCHOEN, age 17 of East Ferris Township, succumbed to his injuries after being transported to hospital.
Members of the Technical Traffic Collision Investigations (TTCI) unit attended the scene to assist in the investigation.
The investigation is continuing.
