(LEEDS, ON.) – Officers of the Leeds Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation into a collision that claimed the life of a 56 year old man.
On the 13th of June 2016 at about 8:20 AM O.P.P officers from Leeds County Detachment responded to a collision on Temperance Lake Road in Elizabethtown-Kitley Township. Investigation revealed that an eastbound motorcycle was rounding a curve and collided with a westbound vehicle.
The Motorcycle operator, a 56 year old man, died as a result of his injuries. The driver of the westbound vehicle was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Temperance Lake Road remains closed while members of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators conduct their investigation.
The investigation continues.
