Fatal Motorcycle Collision

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) –Members of the County of Brant, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to Highway #403 East on June 16, 2016 at approximately 11:35 p.m. to investigate a motorcycle collision.

OPP members along with County of Brant Fire and County of Brant Ambulance service attended the scene and located a single vehicle collision. The operator and passenger of the 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle were both transported to local hospital. The driver a 53-year-old Sterling Heights Michigan man has minor injuries and the passenger has been pronounced dead at hospital.

The passenger on the motorcycle has been identified as 50-year-old Michelle HUGGINS of Sterling Heights Michigan, United States of America.

OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) were deployed to the scene to assist with the investigation.

Highway # 403 East bound was re-opened at approximately 3:45 p.m.
