(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a single motor vehicle collision at a Brantford Road, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, June 16 at approximately 5:24 a.m., Police, Norfolk County Fire Services and Paramedics responded to a single motor vehicle collision.
Investigation has determined that a vehicle was travelling northbound on Brantford Road approaching the Burford-Delhi Townline Road when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the west ditch rolling over.
The driver of the vehicle, a 35 year old female of Norfolk County, Ontario was pronounced deceased at the scene by an attending Coroner.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting with the investigation.
Identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Brantford Road is closed between Talbot Street and Windham Road 2 and Burford-Delhi Townline Road is closed between Highway 24 and Maple Avenue for approximately 4 hours to allow for police investigation.
