(Augusta Twp.) On April 19, 2014 at approximately 5:45 AM members of the Grenville County OPP, Prescott Detachment responded to a single motor vehicle collision on County Rd. 26 just west of County Rd. 18 in Augusta Township.
A 2004 GMC Sierra pickup truck was traveling eastbound on County Rd. 26 when for unknown reasons it left the roadway to the north clipping one hydro before striking a second hydro pole.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle died at the scene. Identity has not been confirmed at this time.
Members of the Prescott OPP along with Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are investigating and remain on scene.
