(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Brant County Detachment is currently investigating a motor vehicle collision at a Governors Road East, Brant County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, June 5, 2014 at approximately 7:15 p.m., Brant County OPP, Brant County Fire Services and Brant County Paramedics responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a cyclist.
Investigation has determined that a cyclist and a Honda motor vehicle were travelling eastbound on Governors Road when they became involved in a collision.
The cyclist suffered life threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting with the investigation.
Identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Governors Road East between Park Road and St George Road will be closed for several hours to allow for investigation.
