(LANARK HIGHLANDS, ON) – The Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a house fire which has resulted in a death.
On January 22, 2015 at approximately 8:30 am the Lanark County Ontario OPP was called to a house fire on Gibson Road located off of the Wolf Grove Road between Hopetown and Almonte. The Lanark Highlands Fire Department responded to the residence. An occupant was discovered by fire department personnel inside the house. The residence was mostly destroyed by the fire.
The Office of the Fire Marshall of Ontario has attended the scene and the investigation is continuing.
