(Gravenhurst, ON) – On December 16, 2014 just after 10:00am members of Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Gravenhurst Fire Department and Muskoka EMS responded to a structure fire at the Muskoka Mobile home park located at 1701 Highway 11 South, Gravenhurst.
Emergency services arrived and found one person deceased inside the home. Police are working on notifying the next of kin.
Three firefighters were taken to a local hospital as a result of injuries sustained in their efforts to fight the fire.
The Muskoka Crime Unit with the assistance of the OPP Forensic Identification Unit is working in cooperation with the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office in this ongoing investigation.
