(NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to investigate a two-vehicle fatal collision on Norwich Road in Norwich Township.
On January 3, 2015 at approximately 4:40 p.m. police were called to the collision on Norwich Road between Middletown Line and County Road 13. A westbound car lost control and entered the eastbound lane of Norwich Road. The car then collided head-on with an eastbound SUV.
As a result of the collision, a passenger of the SUV, Abbygale FLEET, 11 years old of Norwich Township, died later in hospital. The two involved drivers and four other passengers were transported by ambulance to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
The collision remains under investigation.
