(WEST PERTH, ON) On September 8, 2017, a fatal motor vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Perth Road 164 and Perth Line 20 in the Municipality of West Perth.
The identity of the deceased driver has been identified as Cornelis HIRDES, 87 years of age from Bosanquet Township.
The deceased was operating a Grand Cherokee sports utility vehicle when his vehicle entered into the intersection and was struck by a tractor trailer that was travelling northbound on Perth Road 164. The driver of the tractor trailer was uninjured.
No charges were laid in this occurrence.
