(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On May 21st, 2015 at approximately 6:00 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Clearview Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a motor vehicle collision (MVC) involving 2 vehicles.
An OPP investigation as revealed that a black Honda Civic being operated by a 26 year old male from Clearview Twp. was Westbound on Hwy #26 and for a yet to be determined reason entered the eastbound land striking an eastbound Red Chevrolet Traverse operated by a 72 year old female from Barrie.
Deceased is Christopher GREEN 26 years old from Clearview Twp.
The operator of the Red Chevrolet was transported to Hospital with minor injuries.
A post mortem examination is scheduled for Friday, May 22nd, 2015.
The investigation into this fatal motor vehicle collision is ongoing with the assistance of Central Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) members.
