(Napanee,ON)- On April 26 2015 at 7:10 p.m. officers with the Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on John Street in the Town of Greater Napanee.
Witnesses reported a blue Chevrolet Cruze travelling south on John Street proceeded through the intersection of Bridge Street. The vehicle continued south along John Street and sideswiped an unoccupied parked car. The vehicle accelerated striking the rear of another unoccupied parked vehicle and came to a stop.
The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Investigation reveals the driver of the Chevrolet Cruze was in medical distress when the collisions occurred. The deceased driver was identified as 75 year-old Noel ELSBURY of Napanee.
