(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – On May 28, 2016 at approximately 2:50 a.m. officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and other emergency services personnel were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision on Kawartha Lakes Road 36.
The driver, a 25 year old male from the Dunsford area, was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Kawartha Lakes Road 36 is currently closed between Heights Road and Gil-mar Road while the accident continues to be investigated. The OPP’s Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) are on the scene to assist with the investigation.
