(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and investigators from the OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team (TTCI) are currently on scene investigating an early morning fatal car crash that has occurred on Benmiller Line between Huron Road and Londesboro Road.
Shortly before 8:00 a.m. Huron OPP and Huron County EMS responded to the crash scene after receiving information from a passerby. Upon arrival officers located a vehicle resting on its side in the east ditch. The lone male occupant/driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Benmiller Line remains closed between Huron Road and Londesboro Road.
Please take alternate routes to avoid delays.
The identity of the deceased will be released pending next of kin notification.
