(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – At approximately 3:04p.m. Middlesex OPP was dispatched to a multi vehicle collision on the 402 east bound lanes near Wonderland Rd. Two tractor trailers and two motor vehicles were involved in this collision. All vehicles were travelling east bound on the 402.
As a result of the motor vehicle collision one person is deceased and 5 others were taken to hospital with non- life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is in the beginning stages. The OPP’s Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are on the scene. The 402 east bound lanes will remain closed at Col. Talbot Rd and Wonderland Rd to facilitate the investigation.
It is expected the roadway will be reopened in the evening sometime around 10:00 p.m. The identity of the deceased person is still unknown at this time.
