(GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On November 3, 2015 at 4:52 p.m., the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash at the intersection of Side road 63 and Concession 8B in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. Officers arrived to find that a White Lincoln town car and a Red Dodge ram pick-up truck were involved in the collision.
The driver of the Lincoln town was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver’s identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification. The passenger of the Lincoln town car is being treated at hospital for life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Dodge Ram had minor injuries assessed by Grey County paramedics.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation unit is assisting the Grey County OPP with this incident.
Side road 63 has been closed from Grey County Road 4 to Concession 10 and Concession 8B has been closed from Grey County Road 31 to Side road 57 for the protection of emergency responders. Motorists are asked to respect the closure and avoid the incident area.
The investigation is in its early stages.
