(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Yesterday, September 22, 2016 emergency services personnel, including officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle collision at approximately 3:30pm on Kawartha Lakes Road 36 south of Bobcaygeon.
The road remained closed for several hours between Beatty’s Road and Clover Road for the investigation of the fatal motor vehicle collision. The OPP’s Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) also attended the scene.
The driver and lone occupant of one vehicle died as a result of the crash. The deceased has been identified as 69 year old Lisa ALLISON of Minden Hills. Two occupants of the second vehicle were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The collision is still under investigation.
